To play an active and encouraging role in Bioengineering Research Group by educating students (Skripsies, Masters and PhD), create bursaries and work opportunities within the South African economy in order to commercialize innovative concepts. This will lead to the establishment of a conglomerate of unique biomedical technology companies. This hub of core excellence will attract graduates and capital in foreign countries back to South Africa.
