Having completed his thesis in Marketing Management Founder Rucien Petersen discovered that small business owners experienced a few challenges when it came to marketing.
Several challenges arose namely, the time to focus and implement marketing initiatives as they were too busy running their business, having the skills to use the latest social media marketing tools and the knowledge to implement effective marketing strategies and tactics targeted to reaching their potential clients.
These findings led to the birth of Spottmedia, helping businesses place marketing on the right spot.
Rucien holds a Diploma, Degree in Marketing from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology and Honours in Marketing Management from Mancosa (Management College of Southern Africa).
Coming from the insurance and fitness industries he has over 8 years experience in the traditional and digital marketing spaces.
